Cause you know I have a short attention span, don’t you?

I’ve tried recolouring the background, and I’m stuffing up my header as we speak.

I’m talented like that.

Anyhoo, bear with me as the colours change and flicker.

It’s not your meds that need adjusting, just my head.

I got a little sick of blogging.

(and I also got plain sick – again)

Blogging has always been a great emotional and creative outlet for me, and I lost sight of that for a while.

I began to feel obligated to post something world-shatteringly interesting on a regular basis.

I got bloggers block and stopped enjoying what began as a fun hobby.
It’s a common complaint.

Now I feel like I’ve gotten back in touch with my muse and am ready to enjoy babbling on here again.

Sharing news and ideas, both boring and fab.

Look on the bright side; if you’re having trouble sleeping, you can always call in here…

In the meantime, I’ve found some super-cute new amigurumi patterns you can drool over & posted them on my other blog.

I think it must be a sign from upstairs that I’m moving in the right direction, especially as it’s not as a result of my fantastic blogging skills.

In fact, I know it is, because my benefactor Gina is actually a dear friend of mine from RL, and she awarded me the erm… award… before she knew I was in the process of actually making changes happen.

I’ve also quite neglected our friendship while I’ve been so sick in the past year, so it’s a doubly lovely surprise to receive this award from her. Thank you so much, Gina.

But it has.

So much has happened in that time that I don’t really know where to begin. So, just a quick update today, without too much overwhelming detail.

We got Mr Bumps’ first school report in June, and the only concern his teacher had was that he’s too quiet.
I had to check that she had the right child. Seriously.

Wren had some issues in July and September with Zoe, a ‘friend’ who is somewhat controlling & told her to jump in the lake.
I was soooo proud!

Mr Blogs is still doing the work of two separate positions at work, and ended up taking some stress leave in October.
I could biatch about it, but we do enough of that at home.

We have our fingers crossed for something soon, because with Mr Blogs overworked and run-down, Mrs Blogs (me) gets run-down coping with the housework & Mr Blogs’ mother-in-law (Granma) has been doing the school run & the washing for the last 7mths.

For myself, I’ve actually been working on some other blogs, which seem to have taken off quite well.
I’ll write more about those another time, because I’m starting to get a bit tired now.
